VGBN would like to encourage individuals, as well as businesses, to become sponsors.
VGBN is increasing its presence throughout the Green Mountain State and beyond. Our website has become a reliable resource for green building information, and our educational and outreach activities have helped connect people who value a sustainable economy, environment, and quality of life for all Vermonters. Your generous contribution will enable us to continue our efforts to increase green building participation here in Vermont.

VGBN will consider in-kind donations in lieu of or combined with monetary contributions. VGBN is a Federal 501c3 and State of Vermont non-profit corporation contributions will be fully tax deductible. Please contact our sponsor coordinator via email sponsors@VGBN.org for sponsorship details and inquiries.

Membership
The continued participation and support of VGBN members is critical to our Network’s success. Being a member of VGBN provides more opportunities to be aware, involved, and supportive of green building in Vermont. We encourage our members to be involved in many of our educational and advocacy initiatives or to attend any of our board or committee meetings. Your membership shows a commitment to green building in Vermont, which benefits everyone.
Any Individual (but not an organization) may be a member of the Vermont Green Building Network. There are three levels of membership:Free – As the mission of our network is networking, subscription to the two VGBN email lists is free.
Student – Full time students receive the same membership benefits as Individuals
Individual – An individual membership also includes the following:>> an optional listing in our Online Membership Directory,
>> the ability to make multiple listings in the VGBN Green Pages,
>> a free copy of our CD ”Green Building in Vermont”
>> discounts on VGBN sponsored events (Note that, at this time, this does NOT include USGBC events or workshops which require registration at through the USGBC web site),
>> the opportunity to serve on one of VGBN’s committees to promote, develop, network, advocate, or educate, about green building in Vermont,
>> in the near future, a membership in Building for Social Responsibility a group of Vermont building professionals and others who are concerned with the impact of their work on their communities and society. VGBN is a chapter of the United States Green Building Council (USGBC) and acts as the local representation of USGBC. This allows the entire Network to benefit from the brand and credibility of USGBC and help VGBN and USGBC work toward our common goals. However, membership in VGBN does not include membership in USGBC.
