:: green building rating systems

US Green Building Council
The USGBC is a national coalition of leaders from across the building industry working to promote buildings that are environmentally responsible, profitable, and healthy places to live and work.

The USGBC has established the LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Green Building Rating System as a voluntary, consensus-based national standard for developing high-performance, sustainable buildings.

USGBC is currently looking for feedback as they develop LEED v3.0. If you would like to contribute your experience with LEED, feedback through VGBN chapter is a great way.
